STORMIN' NORMAN
(General Norman Schwarzkopf)

He is the shepherd of those armoured sheep,
That on the desert edge they wait in sleep
With potent barrels silent in the night,
Depressed alas, before the morrows fight.
Yet while they wait a sea borne army rides,
Upon the waves of early morning tides,
To fake invasion of the desert shore,
While from the west the bleating sheep do pour.
The Iraq army caught in this clever trap,
Cannot escape through the northern gap,
As from Kuwait they flee to meet their end,
Their out gunned armour unable to defend.
A plan by Hannibal used all those years ago,
To outsmart the enemy and to defeat his foe.
