TWIN TOWERS

How can one bare the agonies of the world?
When it's so hard to bare those of ones own,
What is our purpose when such thoughts unfold,
Perhaps an expression we do not condone
We may express our helplessness away,
By trying to share what we cannot share,
Trying to make for others a better day,
That love combined may spread out everywhere.
Our short grief spares not cruel horrors wrath,
Which through those loved ones hearts doth vilely creep,
Retaining all those cries of awful death,
That still as echoes haunt the city street.
What can we do but pray and find some joy,
In the memories that cruel time cannot destroy.
