WHERE, MY LORD?

You are the nectar deep within the rose
The unseen odour of your petal sweet
You are like wind that through the blossom flows
And like the mist that settles in the street
The hazy lights are traces of your dreams
The silken webs networks of your thoughts
You live in all the waters of the streams
And in the sails of ships that reach their ports
But where, sweet Lord, do you live in me?
I know you’re there, though we do not often speak
And sometimes, Lord, we often disagree
Though I, your humble servant, am so meek
Where ere you live, if my words are true,
Then Lord, I’ve brought some friends with me too
