While faster time might bring to me sad news,
I pray it hastens to a happy end,
For losing someone special but accrues,
Despite all time a pain that never mends.
I stand in rain here seeking in the sky,
The spirit which unites our special love,
And where I look I see an Eagle fly,
Yet through grey clouds in the heavens above.
Merciless wind doth tug at feather and claw,
And lightning flashes through her ailing heart,
The wild sky thunders as the rain doth pour,
Yet slowly might the stormy time depart,
That we are blessed to see her smile again,
To dry these tears and wipe away the pain.
