The Earth is a lot of little divided land forms,
on which are built monuments to mythical Gods.
All are subject to nature's seasons and storms,
And all the creatures rot into the various sods.
Every herd has a leader who must tend to his power,
Threatened by the upcoming challenging beast,
For not all who surround him are obedient and cower,
And the more he protects them the threat is increased.
And no matter how long we all choose to ignore it,
Pretending it all leads to a heaven of peace,
Those seeking the pedestals of power will exploit it,
For the natural behaviour of the world will not cease.
Though we pray for its ending and cause its existence,
According to birthplace we treasure our lease
