'Tis a world of myths a world of lies,
Where no one hears the pleading cries;
Where greed destroys pretentious love,
For there is no God up there above.
Up there is out, 'tis space we see;
Faith changes nothing, 'tis fallacy.
For despite our faith in this cruel God
We live and die and rot in sod,
Pretending prayer doth alter things
While knowing life but suffering brings.
Conjecture reigns, the All Supreme
As the people worship a fruitless dream.
But none come back when they have gone,
And none know why; not one, not one!
