THE GOOD OLD DAYS...
In those wonderful days which included the Japanese butchers, Hitler, Mussolini, and Stalin, young boys were sent down the coal mines to work, women burdened with many children, without washing machines, without dishwashers, without refrigerators.
The good old days when housewives scrubbed their floors on their hands and knees with a cloth and bucket; washed clothes by hand rubbing their knuckles raw; whose day was much, much longer than the man's day, and he who would arrive home after a couple of hours spent with his cronies at the bar after work, demanding his dinner, kept warm in the oven, and complaining because it was spoiled.
The good old days - when kids were caned at school for minor offences and were humiliated in front of their class; when young girls and boys of 9 and 10 years old were thrashed with a sports shoe or with the cane; who grew up hating Jews and thinking black people were just white man's slaves; and who had religion bashed into their brains before they were old enough think for themselves.
The good old days when we were taught to obey, to be submissive and to refer to "our betters" as Sir, while they referred to us by our last names; when factory workers, toiled in atrocious conditions with hardly any safe working installed; when farmers lived in perpetual debt, doing all the work for little or no reward.
The good old days when it was a crime to be poor and jobs were as scarce as hen's teeth and to be poor made you a second class citizen and if you were black, something worse; when Veterans had a far worse deal than the modern veteran moans about - they died in the parks and soup kitchens and back alley ways, kicked to death by some young bum for a couple cigarette butts.
The good old days when money making institutes that hoard the world's stolen treasures in their dingy vaults and were ruled over by a dictatorship of old cronies who apparently are somewhat confused as to why God created them with penises other than to urinate and to insert them into the bowels of children. That today has to an extent been at last revealed but is still covered up.
The good old days when it was a crime to be different; when deaf and dumb children were institutionalized as being retarded; when women were afraid to be women; when a person born gay was treated like a piece of garbage; when there were no controls over rents; when you had to have a license to watch TV; when it was a crime for a woman to have sex out of wedlock but OK for the man; when gang rapes and wife bashing never reached the media, or the courts.
Hells Bells... I could go on forever...
