We must fear the one we love
And trust the one we fear;
Believe in the crow and dove
And that joy resides in tear.
We must glorify our doom
And deny the end is death;
That withered petals bloom,
That immortality is our path.
We must believe our comrades die
For the doctrines we perceive
To be truth and not a lie;
That our faith does not deceive;
Though we live our lives in pain
That our kin shall all retain.
