Do you have to say "I disagree"
when giving one your praise,
For what you give you take away,
In a single hurtful phrase.
Is it not better to accept,
Another's point of view,
Instead of being so inept,
At giving credit where it's due.
A verse expresses from the heart,
Thoughts in simple lines,
With love attempting to impart,
What in the mind it finds.
That justifies no ill remark,
For true expression it defines.
