TEACHING TRUTHS

That line on the ground's not easy to find
by those who've been told that all will be fine
if truth is regarded as what has been taught
by those whom thirty silver pieces have bought.
But a mere glance to the side and with fiery words
those who've been sated by doctrinal absurds
will torment the innocent, the naive and untrained
with the threat of the fire of Satan's domain.
And his lecturers all, with their cunning intent,
will gain their reward in the souls that are spent.
The saddest thing 'bout the whole damned charade?
The teachers have taught as they have been played!
And so, in the end, teachers and pupils alike
will stare blankly at each other's heads on a pike.
