WE WHO LOVE
(A Response)

A wonderful poem, of love unrequited
Of soul mates who need passion reignited.
Of the poet romantic, who can never abide
The idea that her love isn't still there inside.
Of loyalty eternal and devotion professed,
yet of needs and desires sadly repressed.
