BUT WHAT IS LOVE

But what is love, describe it if you will
It is the grass on a thousand hills
It is the sunshine bright and warm
It is the dew drops in the early morn
It is all these things and so much more
It is friendships on distant shores
It is the brown eyes that you cannot forget
The eyes of love from a special Vietnam Vet
The soft touch of an angel across your face
Just to let you know Becca is still in this place
It is a feeling for those you have never met
The friends whom you will never forget
It's a feeling that stretches from head to toe
And makes you feel a soft warm glow
Love is something that must be shared
It's a gift that can never be spared
Love given from those who are no longer here
That is held in the heart and keeps them near
Love is so many things that words cannot convey
But brings sunshine to the darkest of days
But what is love? I cannot say
But I can show you in a thousand ways
